Upon completing your Graduate Certificate of Education, you will achieve the following learning outcomes:

Understand and apply effective leadership strategies to drive continuous improvement across pedagogical practices, assessment strategies, learning outcomes, and staff and organisational performance.

The Graduate Certificate of Education: Leading Education, comprises four units of study.
- Leading Under Challenging Circumstances
- Leading for Improvement
- Leading Staff
- Leading Community Engagement
Continue your study
You can complete your Graduate Certificate of Education: Leading Education, and then choose to study an additional four core units to obtain ECU's Accelerated Online Master of Education (Leading Education).
Entry criteria
Course admission requirements
- Have a Bachelor degree in Education or
- Equivalent or a Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline or,
- Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years relevant professional experience
- Meet English Language Requirements (Band 4).
- Note: All applicants are required to have 2 years experience in educational setting or organisation, with equivalents considered.
Fees and FEE-HELP
The total cost of our Graduate Certificate of Education: Leading Education is $9,560*.
To assist with some or all of your tuition fees, FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. This government-supported loan scheme is designed to help eligible full-fee paying students pay their postgraduate tuition fees.

Delivered 100% online and with six study periods a year, you could complete the Graduate Certificate of Education in as little as 8 months while continuing to work full-time.
