Admission requirements

To gain entry to the online Master of Project Management, applicants must have:

Fast-track your Master of Project Management

Eligible students can fast-track their Master of Project Management and complete their degree in nine units by applying* for recognition of prior learning. To gain entry to the fast-tracked master’s degree, applicants must:

  • Have an Australian Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Project Management, Engineering or Information Technology, or have completed a major in Project Management^; or
  • Hold any Australian Bachelor degree, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of professional project management experience; or
  • Hold a current professional accreditation in project management to meet one of the following: (i) Be a registered project manager (RegPM) with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) at CPPP level or above; or, (ii) Be a current active (not retired) Project Management Institute (PMI) certificate holder at either PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA or PMI-RMP level; or, (iii) Be a current registered Chartered Project Professional with the Association for Project Management (APM) at any level.

*To gain entry to the fast-track masters, students must apply after they accept the offer for the 12-unit masters. Applications for the fast-tracked master degree are subject to ECU’s assessment.  

^Bachelor degree must be completed within the last 10 years.

Fees and FEE-HELP

The cost of our Master of Project Management is $56,880* for all 12 units.

The cost of our Master of Project Management (Fast-Track) is $42,660* for nine units.

To assist with some or all of your tuition fees, FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. This government-supported loan scheme is designed to help eligible full-fee paying students pay their postgraduate tuition fees.
