If you are a project manager with a relevant degree you can fast-track your degree and complete your Master of Project Management in only nine units instead of the usual 12.

Course information
Admission requirements
Eligible students can fast-track* their Master of Project Management and complete their degree in only nine units. To gain entry to the fast-tracked master’s degree, applicants must:
- Have an Australian Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Project Management, Engineering or Information Technology, or have completed a major in Project Management, or
- Any Australian Bachelor degree, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of professional project management experience; or
- Hold a current professional accreditation in project management from the Project Management Institute (PMP, PfMP, PMI-RMP or PMI-SP levels), the Australian Institute of Project Management (CPPP level or above) or AXELOS (ITIL 4, RESILIA, PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner, MSP or P3O).
*To gain entry to the fast-track masters, students must apply after they accept the offer for the 12-unit masters. Applications for the fast-tracked master degree are subject to ECU's assessment.
Not eligible for our fast-track master’s degree? You can still gain a Master of Project Management by completing 12 units total.

Pathway to further study
Remain flexible while you pursue your postgraduate degree with our gateway qualifications. If you need to exit early, you could still receive a Graduate Certificate of People in Project Management or Graduate Certificate of Strategic Project Management after completing three units.
